With
the security issues that have surfaced over the past
few years, the motor vehicle reports industry has had
the added responsibility of policing the intended use
for each order placed. The Driver’s Privacy Protection
Act of 1994 (DPPA) [links to Governing Regs. Page], which
was upheld on both the State and Federal levels, has
put restrictions on both the personal information we
can provide and the types of clientele First Advantage
ADR may provide it to. In compliance with the DPPA, First
Advantage ADR has created and is maintaining a Compliance
Department to oversee the full compliance of its clients
and the protection of the consumer.
First Advantage ADR requires each client to have a
signed Subscription Agreement, along with signed Affidavits
of Intended Use
by the states that require them. It is our wish and
desire to make this process as brief and easy as possible.
Below is a list of states that currently require a
signed affidavit. Please note that all forms are in
.pdf format. This requires Adobe Acrobat Reader to
view or print. If you don't have a copy of this free

If you have any questions or concerns about the Compliance
procedure, or about the forms in general, please email
the Compliance department at MVRcompliance@FADV.com.
