The Gold Book of Transportation Brokers is a listing of over 1,000 brokers who pay their freight bills in 30 days or less. They are listed by State and by alphabetical listing with name, address, phone, number of employees and motor carrier number. To qualify for Gold Book status a broker must meet stringent requirements:

• They must have a Surety bond or trust
• They must have been in business at least three years
• They must have proper federal operating authority
• They must pay their freight bills in 30 days or less with no single reference over 45 days

The Gold Book is published bi-monthly in a pocketbook edition, giving truckers the ability to fill problem lanes and locate backhaul freight with companies with strong payment histories. It is also available online and this version is updated on a daily basis.
