Mark Parise, CEO
Prior to joining First Advantage, Parise had a successful 10-year career with the global marketing information and analytics leader Symphony IRI Group, a Symphony Technology Group portfolio company, and widely recognized business transformation success. Parise was President of IRI where he served in this role for 5 years and prior to that held a number of senior executive roles in both the US and Europe. Previous to IRI, Parise had a 20-year career in the financial services industry holding general management and senior executive positions in market leading companies including GE Capital, Chase Manhattan Bank and Experian. He graduated from Quincy University with a B.S. in Management, and completed the Executive Leadership Development and Master Black Belt programs at GE.

 

Eric Hess- Chief Operations Officer
As COO, Eric has responsibility for fulfillment, production support, operational compliance and technology infrastructure. Prior to joining First Advantage, Eric was most recently Senior Vice President of Global Operations for the Risk Solutions business of LexisNexis where he drove the strategic direction for all U.S. and international operations for Risk Solutions. Prior to LexisNexis, Eric held various senior operating positions within the human capital management and data analytics industry.

Eric is a respected industry expert on the topic of talent acquisition and employment-related screening, and is a frequent lecturer, speaker and author on these topics. In 2001, he was appointed by the Secretary of Transportation to the Department of Transportation's Federal Advisory Committee for the Transmission and Storage of Electronic Drug Testing Information. Having served more than a decade on the legislative and regulatory affairs committee of the Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA), including two years as Board Chairman, he now resides as Chair Emeritus. Eric is also a previous recipient of Entrepreneur of the Year Award by Inc. Magazine and Ernst and Young.

 

Rich Bartolotta- Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining First Advantage, Rich worked for IMS Health, Inc., a private equity-backed market intelligence and analytics business serving the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, since 2003. During his tenure, he held a number of executive-level financial positions, starting as the Vice President, Finance for IMS Japan and subsequently leading the Global Finance, Consulting and Services, and Global Pharma Solutions financial organizations. He most recently served as Vice President, Finance, U.S. Business Unit.

Rich previously held the position of CFO and executive vice president for NASDAQ Japan Inc., from 2000 to 2002, where he guided all aspects of the organization's startup operations and successfully raised $50M in private equity from outside investors. Rich began his career in 1982 with IBM Corporation, where he held positions of increasing responsibility through 2000, including Director of Finance, Personal Systems Group Worldwide and Director of Finance, Personal Systems Group Asia Pacific.

 

Stefano Malnati- Chief Technology Officer
Prior to joining First Advantage, Stefano served as Senior Vice President of Engineering for Vendavo, where he was responsible for leading the development of the company's price management and optimization software platform and solutions. He previously worked for HireRight, driving the expansion of its SaaS employment screening solutions as Senior Vice President of Engineering. Earlier in his career, Stefano held executive-level positions with several software development companies, including ImpactXoft, TIBCO Software and Centric Software, working in collaborative development environments to create various business applications and software solutions for each organization.

Stefano holds a degree in Electronics from the Instituto Tecnico of Gallarate, Italy, and studied Computer Science at the Universita'degli Studi in Milan, Italy.

 

Steve Rudderham- Executive Vice President, Integration and Operating Execution Leader
Steve Rudderham has more than 15 years of global business experience across BPO, Insurance and Consumer Products. His broad operations background includes having led teams on the ground in Europe, the United States, Latin America, and India. Steve is a board member of IAOP (International Association of Outsourcing Professionals) Latin America, the Nearshore Executive Alliance and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Steve holds a B.S. degree in International Business Management from DeMontfort University in Leicester, U.K., an M.S. in Marketing from the University of Glamorgan in Wales, U.K. and an MBA degree from Loughborough University, U.K.
 
 

Bill Franck- Executive Vice President, Client Portfolio Management
Bill plays a critical role with cross functional teams to implement strategy and organizational structure for incremental revenue growth. Prior to joining First Advantage, Bill was a commissioned officer in the US Army. He held assignments in various Special Operations units and the Infantry. Bill attended St. John's University for his undergraduate degree and has a MBA from NY Institute of Technology.

 

Michael Cool- Executive Vice President, Client Care
Prior to joining First Advantage, Michael served as Division President for Acxiom Information Security Services and their predecessor TransUnion Employment Screening Services for nearly 16 years. Michael has authored numerous articles, presented at nearly all of the industry association conferences, served as the vice Chairman of the Cleveland Chapter for ASIS for seven years and was a member of the committee that started the National Association of Professional Background Screeners. Previously, Michael was Director of Loss Prevention for a billion dollar discount drug chain and a police detective, SWAT team member, firearms and crisis intervention instructor and hostage negotiator.

 

Michael Briggs- Executive Vice President Sales, New Client Sales
Michael plays a critical role in defining and leading First Advantage's strategy for the rapidly evolving Global Talent Solutions market and aligning company resources to deliver business and technology solutions that enhance a company's overall profitability, are unique in the marketplace, and enable innovation in the HR space. He serves on the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society and serves as a business advisor to the North Coast Angel Fund, an organization that invests in early-stage technology companies. Michael holds an MBA in management from Cleveland State University and a BA from Baldwin-Wallace College.

 

Ginny Gomez- Executive Vice President, Product Management
Ginny is responsible for all facets of screening product management, delivery and go-to-market planning and execution. She has extensive experience in technology, product management and business development. Prior to joining First Advantage, Ginny held executive roles in the Human Capital Management market industry including Senior Vice President of Product Management and Marketing at PeopleFluent and Director of Product Management and Marketing at Taleo.

 

Dan Filby- Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Tax
Dan has more than 20 years of domestic and international experience leading organizations from Fortune 500 brands to start-up companies. In these roles, he has transformed businesses for high growth and fostered a culture where customer experience is the number one priority.

Prior to First Advantage, Dan has held key management positions at Oracle, Workshare and GE Capital. Dan is a current Executive Board Member of The National Employment Network (NEON), a past Board member of Lanthorn Technologies (2004-2007) and The Silicon Valley Computer Using Educators (2009-2011). Dan earned a Bachelor of Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada.

 

Michael Pilnick- Executive Vice President, Head of Human Resources
Michael is a highly accomplished executive with particular expertise in helping organizations achieve the highest return on their investment in human capital. Michael's background includes significant experience in both corporate and consulting environments across a variety of industries. Most recently, he was Chief Human Resources Officer for Wolters Kluwer. Prior to Wolters Kluwer, he held roles as Senior Vice President at both Harcourt Education Group (Reed Elsevier) and Columbia House (formerly the Blackstone Group). Michael played a key role in transforming the businesses to ultimately position both companies for sale.

 

Bret Jardine- Executive Vice President, General Counsel
Bret Jardine joined First Advantage's legal department in 2004. Prior to joining First Advantage, Bret was employed with Zimmet Unice, Salzman Heyman & Jardine PA where he served as partner handling commercial litigation.

Bret graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Florida and received his juris doctor from Stetson University College of Law.

 

Navin Chugh- Managing Director, India
Navin has over 22 years of global leadership experience in building and managing high growth businesses in software and services industry. Most recently Navin served as Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Steria. In addition, he has held the role of COO at Oracle, and executive management positions at Vertex Ventures and successful startups, Tradeum (VerticalNet) and Vastera. He has worked extensively with Fortune 1000 customers in technology, across multiple verticals, and developed and managed teams in NA, EMEA, JAPAC, and Latin America.

 

Traci Canning- Senior Vice President and Managing Director of EMEA
Traci has a rich background that includes product management and strategic development for technology companies, research and marketing expertise, and executive management in the publishing industry. She has earned European privacy certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP).

 

Salman Syed- Executive Managing Director of Asia Pacific
Salman joined First Advantage from Premier Farnell Plc, where he held a variety of roles including President of Asia Pacific and Global Head of Innovation, building a successful operation across 30 cities in nine countries.

Salman has held extensive senior HR roles in transformational environments in Asia Pacific, including as the Vice President of HR at a Fortune 200 company. He has held a variety of management roles including those in HR consulting and outsourcing environments covering Asia Pacific in sales, marketing and business strategy. He has an MBA from Kellogg's School of Management and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and did his undergraduate studies at McGill University in Canada.
